Willow Vista Subdivision in Marana

Posted: March 10, 2015

We are delighted to present Willow Vista. This residential subdivision project lies on a 30.6 acre parcel located at the southeast corner of Sandy Desert Trail and Cortaro Farms Road in Marana, Arizona.Minutes from Interstate 10, Willow Vista offers breathtaking views of Arizona sunsets over the Tucson Mountains and lies within the Town of Marana and the Marana Unified School District. We are nearing the end of the rezoning process for the property which had previously been platted for 35 – 16,000 sf lots under R-16 zoning. Our new layout for the clients provides 69 – 7,200 sf (average based upon a mix of 55 ft. and 60 ft. wide x 120 ft deep) lots under proposed R-6 zoning, yet still preserves more than 40% of the site as Natural Undisturbed Open Space (NUOS). Furthermore, with the revised site layout, there is greater attention to maintaining the wildlife corridors through the property.

Besides for our rezoning efforts, we have already provided the topography and boundary survey, and are moving forward on the Preliminary Plat, Hydrology Report, Geotechnical Evaluation, Grading and Drainage Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, Water Plans, Sewer Plans and Paving Plans. We will also produce the Final Plat.

We are proud to be coordinating with The Planning Center, the Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection, and with Town of Marana staff on the project.
